Mr Low Tong
Coach Low has been coaching at RI since 2007. A vastly experienced coach who has studied in Taiwan during his undergraduate days. Under his mentorship and tutelage, our A Division Boys clinched their first National Schools Championship Title in 2015. (Our last title was in 2000). His dedication to coaching our boys is shown in the amount of travel commute from his home in JB to Bishan 3-4 times a week. Despite his age, his passion for the game has not waivered. He also takes extra effort to get the A Div boys to think more on court and thus make better decisions on court. He is currently one of the coaches for our Year 1-6 Basketball Program and is also the coach of Prebsyterian High School Basketball.
Coach Baoling is a very experienced and accomplished coach. A former National player herself, she has even gone overseas to participate in coaching workshops in Europe to further her coaching credentials and learning. She has been the head coach of RI A Div Girls team since 2006. She focuses a lot on our teams working as one unit and each player complementing each other's strenghts and weakndesses. Under her leadership and coaching, our girls team has featured regularly in the National Schools Finals, often competing with our direct rivals HCI, clinching the championships in 2006 and 2012. She is also the coach of Singapore Chinese Girls School Basketball team.
Ms Wong is a dedicated and very experienced economics tutor at RI. She has been teaching at RI since 1997 and has been one of the teacher mentors in Basketball CCA since 2005. A caring tutor who always check on how the students are doing, she helps to especially look after the girls team and often provides valuable advice off the court to our girls. Not only that, she gives adivce to students with regards to their economics essays and marks their assignments during our training trips to make sure our students are prepared for their studies whilst training hard.

Coaching Staff Team
Our coaching team consists of very experienced and accomplished coaches in Singapore. Our main coaches have coached National/National Youth/Club teams before and their wealth of experience has helped to polish the raw potential and talent at Raffles.
Mr Tay is a Physical Education teacher who is a former alumni of RJC and has been teaching at his alma mater since 2012. Previously, he was also the teacher in charge of Basketball at Commonwealth Secondary School. A passionate and caring teacher, he also conducts conditioning sessions for both teams and tracks the students' progress in physical preparedness for their season. Using technology to engage the players, he oversees the video capture and recording of statistics during games.
Mr Tan is a Mathematics teacher and has been teaching at RI since 2015. Before this, he taught Mathematics at Yishun JC for several years. He joined our CCA as teacher mentor in 2016 and even at this early stage, he has shown his support for the students during trainings and matches at courtside. He would carry out Math remedial for basketballers in need of assistance too. His support and oversight of the boys team has been a great asset to the CCA.
