Sevilla going on a fast break layup

Our girls team started their Quarter Finals Group Stage against Dunman High School. We began the game with a half court man defence and we managed to contain our opponents well. Thus, it was hard for them to look for opportunities to attack the basket.

Unfortunately, we had difficulties converting our shots even when we managed to swing the ball around quickly.

During the second half of the match, we pressured our opponents with our full court press which was effective in forcing them to make mis-passes, allowing us to put in some quick layups.

Throughout the game, we managed to put up a good defence which prevented our opponents from scoring and our shots slowly improved as the game progressed. This helped us to pull away from our opponents and we were able to rotate all of our players.

Although we played well overall, we still have much room for improvement in our shooting and attacking flow. We will want to continue to maintain our strong defence for future games.
